Coronavirus Hits Milan Fashion Week

Breaking News – Shows are being cancelled and fear is setting in as the Coronavirus hits Italy just in time for Milan Fashion Week. Safety precautions are being taken as Giorgio Armani announces he will be live streaming his Fall/Winter 2020 show behind closed doors to avoid having guests in “crowded spaces”. The Italian National Fashion Chamber is leaving it up to each indivisible brand to decide if they will proceed as planned or not as dozens of towns in Italy go into strict lockdown. For brands like Dolce and Gabbana the show must go on. The brand presented their Fall/Winter 2020 collection as scheduled with usual guests like Dame Anna Wintour in the audience. Unfortunately, reports state that only a handful of guests opted to wear a protective mask, stating that those in the thick of it may not be as concerned as they should be about the deadly virus.
